Panama Finca Lérida “Amelia” – Natural Gesha
This exceptional coffee comes from Amelia Estate, part of Finca Lérida, located in the Jaramillo region of Boquete, Panama, at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level. The estate is owned and managed by the Amoruso Family, known for preserving both heritage and innovation in Panama’s specialty coffee scene.
The coffee is produced from the prized Gesha variety, processed using a carefully controlled Natural method. Once harvested, the ripest cherries are selected through flotation to ensure only the highest quality are used. These cherries are then placed in fermentation tanks located in the coolest part of the farm, where the unique microclimate—with warm daytime temperatures and cool nights—provides stable and consistent fermentation conditions.
After fermentation, the cherries are sun-dried for 20 days on African raised beds, allowing for even drying and full sugar development before resting and milling.
