Gesha / Panama
Lamastus Estate Plano / Wilford Lamastus
Natural ASD
Panama Lamastus Estate “Plano” – Wilford Lamastus
Grown at 1,675–1,725 meters above sea level in the Boquete highlands of Panama, this outstanding Gesha coffee comes from the Lamastus Family Estates, renowned for producing some of the most awarded coffees in the world.
This lot (010325) is processed using a Natural Anaerobic Slow Drying (ASD) method. Ripe cherries are fermented anaerobically in sealed tanks for 3 days, allowing for the development of delicate, complex aromatics. After fermentation, the coffee is dried slowly on raised beds, then rested to stabilize and enhance the flavor clarity.
Cup profile:
Refined and floral, with notes of orange blossom, honeysuckle, honey, peach, and melon.
Aftertaste:
Sweet and delicate, with a medium-short finish.
Body & Acidity:
A silky, medium-light body complemented by bright citric acidity for balance and vibrancy.
Recommended brew method:
Best suited for filter brewing methods (such as V60 or Kalita) to fully express its floral complexity and juicy sweetness.
