Located in Volcán, Chiriquí, at 1,300 meters above sea level, Finca Las Margaritas, managed by the Navarro Family, produces Geisha lots that embody finesse and precision. This washed Geisha, harvested on February 18, 2025, showcases the family’s commitment to innovation and meticulous processing.
The cherries were carefully hand-harvested at peak ripeness and depulped before entering fermentation. Using LOY-011P and LOY-006P, the process lasted 13.1 days in custom-built stainless steel tanks, under strictly controlled conditions with an average temperature of 8.5°C. Following fermentation, the coffee was dried for 20.4 days in temperature- and humidity-regulated drying rooms, ensuring clarity and balance in the final expression.
Cup profile:
A clean and elegant Geisha with refined floral aromatics and crisp fruit sweetness. Expect notes of jasmine, citrus blossom, white peach, and honey, complemented by a bright acidity and a long, structured finish.
