Elida / Lamastus Family

Lamastus Family Estates is a multi-generational Panamanian coffee family with roots in Boquete dating back to 1918, and today it operates five estates across the highlands of Volcán Barú. Known for producing exceptional coffees at elevations reaching up to 2,200 masl, the family continues to build on a legacy of quality, innovation, and heritage.Elida Estate sits on the upper slopes of Volcán Barú, where deep volcanic soils, frequent mist and cloud cover, and a wide day-to-night temperature swing slow the maturation of the cherry. This long, even ripening at altitude concentrates sugars and builds the layered florals and clarity for which the estate’s Geisha is known.

This Gesha – Natural Anaerobic Slow Dry comes from Loma Centro, a sheltered mid-slope bench on Elida at 1,700–1,800 masl, known for producing rounded, balanced cups with good body. Harvested on 03 March 2026, this lot was fermented for three days in a sealed reactor and then slowly dried, resulting in a refined and expressive Geisha with elegant structure and depth.
